BG 17.12
अभिसन्धाय तु फलं दम्भार्थमपि चैव यत् ।
इज्यते भरतश्रेष्ठ तं यज्ञं विद्धि राजसम् ॥

abhisandhāya tu phalaṁ dambhārtham api caiva yat
ijyate bharata-śreṣṭha taṁ yajñaṁ viddhi rājasam

Word-for-word meanings
tu — but; bharata-śreṣṭha — O best of the Bharatas; viddhi — know; tam — that; yajñam — yajña; yat — which; ijyate — is performed; abhisandhāya — [by those] expecting; phalam — results; api eva ca — and merely; dambha-artham — for the purpose of show; rājasam — to be of the nature of rajas.
Translation
But, O best of the Bharatas, know that yajña which is performed by those expecting results and merely as a matter of show to be of the nature of rajas.
