तदित्यनभिसन्धाय फलं यज्ञतपःक्रियाः ।
दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षिभिः ॥
दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षिभिः ॥
tad ity anabhisandhāya phalaṁ yajña-tapaḥ-kriyāḥ
dāna-kriyāś ca vividhāḥ kriyante mokṣa-kāṅkṣibhiḥ
dāna-kriyāś ca vividhāḥ kriyante mokṣa-kāṅkṣibhiḥ

vividhāḥ — the various; kriyāḥ — acts; yajña — [of] sacrifice; tapaḥ — [and] austerity; ca — as well as; kriyāḥ — acts; dāna — [of] charity; kriyante — are performed; mokṣa-kāṅkṣibhiḥ — by the seekers of liberation; anabhisandhāya — without anticipating; phalam — any reward; tat iti — [while uttering] the word Tat.
Translation
The various acts of sacrifice and austerity, as well as acts of charity, are performed by the seekers of liberation without anticipating any reward while uttering the word Tat.
