BG 17.7
आहारस्त्वपि सर्वस्य त्रिविधो भवति प्रियः ।
यज्ञस्तपस्तथा दानं तेषां भेदमिमं शृणु ॥

āhāras tv api sarvasya tri-vidho bhavati priyaḥ
yajñas tapas tathā dānaṁ teṣāṁ bhedam imaṁ śṛṇu

Word-for-word meanings
āhāraḥ — the food; tu api — as well; priyaḥ — preferred; sarvasya — by everyone; bhavati — is; tri-vidhaḥ — of three types; yajñaḥ — [as are their] sacrifice; tapaḥ — austerity; tathā — and; dānam — charity; śṛṇu — please hear about; imam — this; bhedam — division; teṣām — of these items.
Translation
The food which people prefer is also of three types, as are their sacrifice, austerity, and charity. Please hear about the divisions of these items.
