BG 7.21
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्तः श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति ।
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम् ॥
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम् ॥
yo yo yāṁ yāṁ tanuṁ bhaktaḥ śraddhayārcitum icchati
tasya tasyācalāṁ śraddhāṁ tām eva vidadhāmy aham
tasya tasyācalāṁ śraddhāṁ tām eva vidadhāmy aham
Word-for-word meanings
yām yām — whatever; tanum — form; yaḥ yaḥ — a particular; bhaktaḥ — devotee; icchati — desires; arcitum — to worship; śraddhayā — with faith; aham — I; vidadhāmi — bestow; tasya tasya — upon him specifically; acalām — firm; śraddhām — faith; tām eva — in that [deity] alone.
Translation
Whatever form a particular devotee chooses to worship with faith, I bestow upon him firm faith in that particular deity.
