स घोषो धार्तराष्ट्राणां हृदयानि व्यदारयत् ।
नभश्च पृथिवीं चैव तुमुलोऽभ्यनुनादयन् ॥

sa ghoṣo dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṁ hṛdayāni vyadārayat
nabhaś ca pṛthivīṁ caiva tumulo ’bhyanunādayan

Word-for-word meanings
saḥ — that; tumulaḥ — terrifying; ghoṣaḥ — sound; abhyanunādayan — resounding; nabhaḥ ca — [through] the sky; pṛthivīm ca eva — and indeed the earth; vyadārayat — shattered; hṛdayāni — the hearts; dhārtarāṣṭrāṇām — of the sons and supporters of Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
Translation
That terrifying sound, resounding through sky and earth, shattered the hearts of your sons and supporters.
