तमुवाच हृषीकेशः प्रहसन्निव भारत ।
सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये विषीदन्तमिदं वचः ॥

senayor ubhayor madhye viṣīdantam idaṁ vacaḥ

bhārata — O Dhṛtarāṣṭra, descendant of Bharata; hṛṣīkeśaḥ — [then] Kṛṣṇa; prahasan iva — as if smiling; uvāca — spoke; idam — the following; vacaḥ — words; tam — to him [Arjuna]; viṣīdantam — the grieving one; madhye — in the midst; ubhayoḥ — of both; senayoḥ — of the armies.
Translation
O descendant of Bharata, then Śrī Kṛṣṇa, as if smiling, spoke the following words to the grieving Arjuna in the midst of both armies.
