BG 6.39
एतन्मे संशयं कृष्ण छेत्तुमर्हस्यशेषतः ।
त्वदन्यः संशयस्यास्य छेत्ता न ह्युपपद्यते ॥
त्वदन्यः संशयस्यास्य छेत्ता न ह्युपपद्यते ॥
etan me saṁśayaṁ kṛṣṇa chettum arhasy aśeṣataḥ
tvad-anyaḥ saṁśayasyāsya chettā na hy upapadyate
tvad-anyaḥ saṁśayasyāsya chettā na hy upapadyate
Word-for-word meanings
arhasi — it behooves You; kṛṣṇa — O Kṛṣṇa; chettum — to dispel; etat — this; saṁśayam — doubt; me — of mine; aśeṣataḥ — completely; hi — because; anyaḥ — other; tvat — than You; na upapadyate — there does not exist; chettā — a remover; asya — of this; saṁśayasya — doubt.
Translation
It behooves You, O Kṛṣṇa, to dispel this doubt of mine completely, for there is no one else but You who can dispel it.
