ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā ca prabhur eva ca
na tu mām abhijānanti tattvenātaś cyavanti te

Word-for-word meanings

hi — indeed;  aham eva — I alone [am];  bhoktā ca — the enjoyer [i.e., He for whom the sacrifice is intended];  prabhuḥ ca — and the master [i.e., He who bestows the results of sacrifice];  sarva — [of] all;  yajñānām — yajñas;  tu — but;  te — they;  na abhijānanti — do not know;  mām — Me;  tattvena — in truth;  ataḥ — [and] therefore;  cyavanti — they fall down.

Translation

Indeed, I alone am the one for whom all yajñas are intended and the one who bestows their results. But they do not know Me in truth and, therefore, they fall down.
